Reinstall or new mobile phone

If you have reinstalled the Accessy-app or switched phone, you can easily get started with Accessy again by logging in to your existing Accessy-account. You do need your recovery code! If you havent reinstalled already, you will find the code in the menu under "More" and then "Recovery code".

If you don't have access to your recovery code, you will unfortunately have to reset your account. You can read more here on how to reset account.

If you've also switched your mobile phone number, you need to create an entirely new account and re-apply for all your access and memberships. If you need to find out how, please read our guide "Getting started with Accessy".

If you have an iPhone, you can choose to save your recovery code to iCloud. This can be done in the menu under "More" and then "Settings".

When you have installed the app again and start it up for the first time, click on "Already have an account?".


Then you have to enter your mobile phone number. Please note: the number needs to be entered in internal format (i.e. +46701234567):

After that, you have to enter the confirmation code that will be sent to your phone by text. Some phones will give you the option to automatically paste the code from the SMS. If not, simply enter the code "manually".


On the next page, you neeed to enter your recovery code which you should have received the very first time you started using Accessy.

If you don't have your recovery code, you unfortunately need to reset your account, meaning you have to re-apply for all your previous access and memberships. You can read our guide here on how to reset your account.

If you have an iPhone and have chosen to store your recovery code in iCloud, the code will be picked up automatically from there.


After you have entered the recovery code, you need to choose a 6-digit long PIN-code. When this is done, you'll be back and logged in to the Accessy-app again.
