I have a new mobile phone. What do I do with Accessy?

Your user account is linked to your mobile number. If you have a new phone but the same mobile number, you can log in to the Accessy app again on your new phone. This assumes that you have saved your recovery code.

Do the following:

  • Download the Accessy app again from the App Store / Google Play.

  • Start the app and click the “Already have an account” button at the bottom.

  • First enter your mobile number and then the activation code that will be sent via SMS.

  • You should now see “The account already exists” and be given two options. It may be worth first trying to click “Use recovery code.” With a bit of luck, you may have it saved in your iCloud / Google Drive. Otherwise, enter it manually. If you no longer have the code anywhere, the only option is to reset your account and start from the beginning. In that case, restart the process and instead choose the “Reset account” option and follow the instructions on the screen.

  • If the recovery code is available, you should now be back on track with maintained access. If not, and you had to do a reset, please contact your administrator to receive an invitation and access again.
